RSA Team Meeting.....

Our next downline meeting is Thursday, October 15. Please mark your calendars and RSVP so we have a count.
We are going to bring in pizza for the evening meal so we will be collecting $3.00 per person to cover the cost for pizza, salad and soda/water for those in attendance.

Our swap theme will be Christmas. Please bring as many as you have time to make so that we have LOTS to put into the Troops box. I mailed a box with about 100 Thanksgiving cards as well as a few all occasion last week and will be mailing the Christmas Box on October 19. Martie needs to have the cards in her hands so that she can get them back into the mail on October 31. I will have extra cards cut for us to work on during our time together as well as having them out for the next two Fridays as well. Last Friday Chris and I put together about 60 cards so with this head start, my goal is to have a box of over 300 ready to go on the 19th. Please help in whatever way you can.

If you have any special questions or concerns, please bring them with you to the meeting or let me know ahead so that I can be sure to have the answer and be able to address it during the meeting for everyone to benefit from the answer.

RSA Downline Meeting

MEETING REMINDER

Don't forget to mark your calendars for this Thursday, September 17 for our next downline meeting, and let us know who is coming ASAP so we can coordinate and plan our potluck. Let me know if you are coming and what you want to bring. We have a few VERY IMPORTANT things to discuss so we hope everyone can join us.

Please bring 12 cards for our swaps. I'd like to suggest Thanksgiving as a theme, but ANYTHING will be graciously accepted and our extra cards will go into our troops box. I just mailed out a box this week that was a majority of Halloween cards. I'd like to thank everyone who had stopped by and helped me put them together while we were visiting and planning other events.

We got to Salt Lake City on Sunday afternoon and have been doing a little sightseeing, some shopping, some swapping, card making and this is all before convention even started! We have participated in a shoebox swap, done a WOW swap, made CD holders, boxes, cards, journals and more...

Yesterday was registration and we got our new stamps sets (cute), our new bag (cute) and are ready for the chaos to begin!

We also saw a preview of some of the great new items that are in store for us in the next few months... new rub-ons, the digital scrapbooking items (very exciting), new designer paper, stencils...oh, so many new things to see in person. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings as the first day of conference really gets underway.

Stampin' Up News

Word from today's teleconference with Shelli is that beginning with our new July 09 catalog they are going back to just ONE main idea book per year and 3 mini catalogs which will last four months each. I believe they are going to have "different" hostess options in the mini's also to help vary the choices on those.

Sounds like good news to me. I personally liked the one catalog better and it is much more economical for us all.

Been a long time since we have had a personal downline meeting, but I know some of the girls are going to the monthly or bimonthly IHOP/Embarq gatherings. Please let me know if any of you are interested in having one of our own, and if so, please give me some date options that would work for you so we can see what works best for most.

Ronald McDonald

Ronald McDonald Event
– February 20, 21 & 27 –

This will be a 3-day availability event so that EVERYONE will hopefully find time to participate. The essence of the event will be a Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser. Cost for the event will be $40.00 which will include the current Stampin’ Up! ® Ronald McDonald Set, which is Say it With Scallops and can be seen on the inside back cover of your current catalog. For each set sold (or person participating in our event) SU will donate $2.00 to the Ronald McDonald House. SU has donated over $2,000,000 to charities throughout the globe. Let’s be part of it. At our event we will be making six card designs and each participant will be making two they can keep for themselves and the rest of the cards in our buckets will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

This will be a Sign-Up event so that I know how many sets to order. We will hold the event during our regular Friday class times on February 20 and 27 and then have an extra Saturday session beginning at 10 am on February 21 for anyone that could not attend on Fridays and wants to participate. Pre-Registration Required by February 6, 2009. Late registration will be accepted, but you cannot be guaranteed to have your set on the first day of the event.

All participants will have the opportunity of reaping “benefits” from the event as well. We have devised the following choices that you can add to your “registration” and earn extra goodies of your choice:

Purchase an additional $25.00 from the NEW Stampin’ Up catalog with your registration and choose a FREE set from a group of pre-selected stamp sets.

Add an additional $50.00 order to your registration and get a pre-selected set as above PLUS choose a current Sale-A-Bration set of your choice AND qualify to use the February coupon in the coupon book. Each additional $50.00 qualifies you for another current Sale-A-Bration set.
If you do not have a coupon book, participation in the event will yield you one.

Not interested in the event, REGULAR Friday class participation will still be honored at regular class prices. See you there.
